Scoop Hill Community Wind Farm

Good Afternoon

As you know, Government restrictions imposed due to COVID-19, has meant Community Windpower was unable to host the scheduled public exhibitions presenting plans for its proposed Scoop Hill Community Wind Farm. The four events which were due to take place in Moffat, Johnstonebridge, Boreland and Wamphray, from Tuesday 31st March until Thursday 2nd April, have had to be postponed indefinitely.

In the absence of public exhibitions, Community Windpower has prepared a website dedicated to Scoop Hill Community Wind Farm and a video which captures the exhibition material. We hope you find the website and video helpful, notwithstanding this Community Windpower appreciates that direct engagement is a vital part of the development process and therefore we will endeavour to hold the public exhibitions, subject to Government restrictions, as soon as possible.

We appreciate the public exhibitions offer the opportunity for questions to be answered, whilst this may not be possible face to face Community Windpower are available to answer questions via the following email The current restrictions on office working may result in slower than normal response times, however we will endeavour to answer all questions as quickly as we can.
